PX Mega Menu: dropdown closes before I can click a link

On desktop the mega menu closes when I move the mouse from the menu item down into the dropdown.
Test answer: a gap of a few pixels between the menu item and the panel closed the dropdown. Closing the gap in the template CSS fixes it.
