A brand-aligned redesign and backend upgrade that made VIVI CITY faster, cleaner, and ready for growth.
Our job was to redesign the platform visually across 4 core pages and deliver a responsive, brand-consistent front-end that fits seamlessly into the existing system.
All websites were running under a single Joomla installation using the MightySite component. The setup needed to be preserved, updated, and made compatible with the latest Joomla versions.
What We Delivered
- Figma-based UI/UX Redesign: We applied the new brand system—colors, fonts, icons—from vivilondra.it to vivi.city, redesigning the Home, Location, Point of Interest, and “Go To” pages.
- Responsive Layouts for All Devices: Each page was designed and developed for both desktop and mobile to ensure a smooth, fast experience for users on the move.
- Menu & Navigation Update: We updated the main menu to match the new style, simplifying user flows across screen sizes.
- Laravel Core & Module Updates: We upgraded the Laravel core, cleaned and modernized custom modules, and refactored key parts of the backend codebase for better performance and compatibility with future versions.
- Codebase Optimization: The entire system was streamlined—removing outdated libraries, reducing load, and improving overall code maintainability and structure.
- Production-Ready Templates: All front-end templates were tested, performance-tuned, and delivered ready for direct integration.
The Result
The project successfully aligned vivi.city with the VIVI CITY brand while delivering a faster, more modern, and scalable platform.
The Laravel upgrade and code optimization set a strong technical foundation, while the design and UX updates enhanced the user journey—especially on mobile.
