This page explains how you may use the Joomla templates and extensions you download from thepixel.dev, and what your membership includes.
GNU General Public License
All PHP code in ThePixel templates and extensions is released under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPL), the same license as Joomla. Unless a file states otherwise, our own CSS, JavaScript and template images are released under the GPL as well.
The GPL lets you use, study, modify and redistribute the code. It comes without any warranty, as described in the license.
What your membership includes
When you join a membership you pay for access to our downloads, updates and support, not for the right to use GPL code:
- Free account: downloads and updates of our free templates and extensions.
- Pro / Pro + Launch: downloads, updates and support for every template and extension, for unlimited websites, while your membership is active.
Memberships renew once a year at 25% off. When a membership ends, the products you already downloaded keep working; renew to receive new downloads, updates and support.
Third-party content
- Third-party libraries and fonts included in our products keep their own licenses (for example MIT or SIL Open Font License). See the license notes inside each package.
- Images and other media shown in our live demos are for demonstration only and are not included in the download unless they are explicitly licensed for redistribution. Replace them with your own media on your website.
Trademarks
"ThePixel", the ThePixel logo and our product names are trademarks of thepixel.dev and are not covered by the GPL. You may not use them to brand your own products or services. Joomla! is a trademark of Open Source Matters, Inc.; ThePixel is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Joomla! Project.
