The challenge
Joomla 3 and a page builder holding the site back
TheraPeeds is a pediatric therapy center in Florida. Its site still ran on Joomla 3, and its pages were built with the Quix page builder, which tied the content to an old stack.
Goal: jump straight from Joomla 3 to Joomla 6, replace the page-builder pages with native layouts, and improve SEO at the same time.
What we did
Two major versions in one move
- Joomla 3 → Joomla 6The whole site moved to Joomla 6.
- Quix pages rebuilt on T4Page-builder pages replaced with native Joomla and T4 Framework layouts.
- Extensions updated or replacedIncluding Balbooa Form Builder PRO and JCE Pro for Joomla 6.
- SEO during the rebuildFull on-page SEO optimisation while the pages were rebuilt.
